It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tamirah "Tam" Teanine Foster, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, cousin, aunt, and friend to many. Born on November 20th, 1976, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Jack and Carolyn Foster, Tam graced the world with her presence and brought joy to all who knew her. Her journey came to a close on September 29, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Carolyn, and her sons, David Jack, Jacob Zane, and Kenneth James Foster, and grandparents Martha and James Foster. In the wake of this unimaginable loss, her memory will live on in the hearts of her surviving daughter, Darrion Foster; her dad, Jack Foster; her sisters, Mitzi Foster, Candace Waterdown, & Jackie Cantrell; brother, Doyle Cantrell; best cousins, Rox and Tim; nieces and nephews, Justice Adrian Xavia & Melijah Foster; Mya Cashus & Sasha Cantrell; Shyla and Tristan Burgess; and Snow Eagle & Justus Duncan.

Tam became a mom at an early age and had four beautiful babies. She loved nothing more than to be around her family laughing and always cooking. She could make the best of any food, but her favorite thing to eat was always candy. Tam was known for her amazing sense of humor, and for never meeting a stranger, she would talk to any and everyone.

As we say goodbye to Tamirah, we celebrate a life that was full of laughter, love, and unwavering strength. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
